My oldest child...my son Jesse, 33 years old. He had a tumor, shaped like a milk bone in his head. Tuesday last, surgery was done to remove the part in his right sinus area. The biopsy came back as malignant. My son has cancer. The remainder of the tumor is near his right ear. It has grown around the carotid artery and the eustation tube coming from his ear. They go back to Charleston this coming Tuesday for follow-up. I think they will advise directed radiation in an attempt to shrink the tumor in hopes to clear the carotid so they can surgically remove it and not damage the artery. I would gladly take this tumor as my own if I could, but I am helpless to do so.
Jesse is as fine a man and dad as I have known...he is a great son, and this is about to kill my wife. I know that no matter what, God will use this for good, and I am resigned to His will in the matter. I don't want to lose my boy, and his kids and wife need him.
Please pray for Jesse, Jennifer (his wife), his sons Aiden and Noah, and my wife Shirlee.

My family and I will certainly pray for you and yours. I can't imagine what you, your wife, and his family are going through! This is every parents' worst nightmare!
