it will be a very loong time before you get into trimming a AI case.

I have 3 Ackleys and trim w/the Lee cutter because they trim so squarely. I just let mine grow until they need trimming and trim. As long is the gauge is not touching the mouth of the case...you know your still under OAL. I run the gauge in all of mine each time I reload one, only takes a second. I like my cases to be at max or close to it, I don't like short cases. powdr

This depends on how well the reamer you are using fits the brass and how you are sizing.....The new Lapua brass is the only way to go and if sized minimal 100 cases will far outlast the barrel
