For Sale: Two Savage varmint type barrels..small shank, I used on my Savage VLP short action.
Im getting out of the small shank, & going to the large shank, savage target action, 6BR.

Both barrels have been cryogenic treated by 300 below.
both barrels I treated, per instructions, with Ultra Coat..twice Cant say it improved accuracy, but all three barrels clean up fast. http://www.extremeguncare.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2,

The two barrels: all stainless, select match purchased from Jim, Northland Shooting Supply:
Shilen, 223 Rem., 1 in 9 twist, 26 inches, varmint contour, .816 at the muzzle, step crown, total round count, 783 rounds****
McGowan, Rem 6mm, 1 in 9 twist, 26 inches, varmint contour, .805 at the muzzle, 11 degree crown, total round count, 445 rounds****
the 223, I shot Hornady 50 gr. V-Max, 69 Gr. Sierra, & Hornady 75 gr. A-Max. Rem 6mm.75 gr. V-Max, & 105 A-Max.both barrels very accurate.

both barrels come in a Sinclair barrel bag.
both barrels come with a Sinclair log book for that barrel, which details the date, # of rounds loaded, power type, charge, primer, bullet, bullet wt., oal, & my notes for that particular load, example: 3 shots in .273, but 5 shots in .709 , etc. there are a few loads I didnt put notes in. these oal measurements I took with my mics, not a bench rest measurement. Shows the bullet distance off the lands, measured with my Sinclair Hex Style Bullet Comparators, & a Hornady Lock-N-Load Modified Case .

*****The total load count for the 223 listed above is 100 more then is actually shot. I had loaded the rounds, logged them in the log book.
****The total load count for the Rem 6mm listed above is 52 more then is actually shot. I had loaded the rounds, logged them in the log book.

The price for each barrel is $250.00 shipped. (Includes shipping the log book too, which will ship separately). Barrels shipped USPS, Priority Mail.
The log book I will ship separately via USPS parcel post mail.
I have one stainless barrel nut from SSS, goes with the 1st barrel sold. Last barrel sold..no barrel nut.
both barrels will be shipped in the Sinclair barrel bag, inside a cardboard box2x2x28.

One set of Redding 300 Winchester Deluxe die set Redding Deluxe Die Set, 300 Win Mag Mfr Part: 84153 ( not bushing) was used to load 10 rounds. FL, Neck, & Seating dies. SPF
I will only ship in the contus of United States.

THE FIRST ILL TAKE IT POST HERE WILL GET IT. Not e-mailing me, Ill take it.

Its best to contact me via e-mail, as I seldom look at my PMs.
This is also listed on another site classified section.

These items are "subject to prior sale."

I dont do pay pal..if you elect to send personal check, Ill ship when the check clears my bank. Only other form of payment is USPS money orderno other type of money order, as I had, not a pleasant experience in one transaction, & will not go thru that again.
as soon as I can get more organized; I will sell a Savage VLP short action laminated stock, center feed, with single shot adapter.
Bushnell 8 x 32 x 40, multiplex, matte finish, is mounted in Burris Signature rings
Winchester brass for the 22-250, (approx... 160 count never fired) 100 with primers, fired twice, but since it has primers, I cant ship. 130 count, also Winchester 223 brass never fired.
Any, & all questions on any of the above, please contact me at: ecdiethotmail.com. Ill answer all request.
Thanks for looking

My brother and I both built bench guns in 6mmBR based on Savage target actions. First summer of use he was down to 2.1" and I hit 2.3" (5 shots @ 600 yds). He used a Shilen barrel and I used PacNor. We both are using the target AccuTriggers. Now that we know the game, we'll see where 2013 takes us.
