I have about 100 rounds of LC 30-06 once fired match brass in excellent condition. My understanding is that military brass is stronger and therefore does not have quite the case capacity of normal commercial brass. I want to reload the brass and wonder how much to reduce my loads in order to avoid any pressure problems. Anyone been there and done that?

Your LC '06 brass is pretty close to RP brass in capacity, all of mine is anyway. Suggest you start low and work up your load as is always recommended. You shouldn't have any problems that way.

The match brass is about 1/2 way between commercial brass and standard LC mil brass. I just measured some the other day. Winchester vs LC-69, that I had made into 7x57 brass, and the LC-69 had about 2 gr less of water capacity.
For .06 , I always used 2 gr less of powder in the LC-69 regular military brass as compared to the same load with commercial brass, then worked up a little. It depends on what powder you are using too.

Thanks guys. This is some brass left over from making cases for an Argentine Mauser some years ago and I plan to feed it to my present 30-06.
