I'm in the market for a Sako 85ST Finnlight in preferably .308, but a 7mm-08 would be a close second choice. New ones are very scarce right now, and I'm having no luck finding one in the used market. If anyone has one they would be willing to part with, or knows about one for sale, let me hear about it. Thanks,
Bill

Try Euro Optic if considering a new one. Looks like they have both 7-08 and 308 in stock. Good luck with your search!

I'd get a 75 in 7-08 over a 85 in 308.

Miguel,
I check auctions frequently for Sakos.I'm lucky to have an 85Finnlight 308.Sorry no sale. That rifle in that round is hard to get used.Seems like folks that have them won't part with them.
EuroOptic is a good suggestion, buy new.
Good luck

Sorry,I drank the Sako-Aid.My opinion may be biased.

Without writing a book about it, I've had both. I like the 75 action better. Like the 7-08 much better than the 308 also and still own multiples of each.......

the new prices are a high too...

The guys who recommend a 75, haven't carried an 85 yet - they 75's are stupid heavy in my opinion.

I've got a donnor 85 in 338 Federal, but am not looking to give it up.. they are nice rifles.

Hi, I'm Matt from The Outpost Armory in Christiana, TN. I just so happen to have the Finnlight in both .308 and 7mm-08, at $1,549 each. If you'd like to grab one, you can email me at matttheoutpostarmory.com

Hope this helps!

It might be light but unless its a WSM it has a stubby barrel.

I prefer the 75 action but don't like 20 inch barrels.

What is wrong with Eurooptic and Outpost Armory? The prices seem to be the going rate. Are you just trying find a used one or cheaper one? Just wondering, because that is not what you had stated in you ad........

I guess I may be looking for a used one. I have a friend who is a dealer and he is having a hard time finding one from his suppliers, and the prices at Outpost Armory and Eurooptic are uninspiring. Buds Guns had them a few months ago in the $1250-$1300 range.
