this rifle has been in the gun safe not to see the light of day for 12 years a friend had me dig it out so he could see it,it is a pre 64 model 70 winchester action as it was a 264 win mag when built by winchester my friend used it for shooting coyotes in the wide open spaces in the flint hills of kansas he eventually smoked the barrel in it so he had it sent to hart and had this huge staynless straight taper 27" barrel installed in the action and at the muzzel end of the barrel it is 1" accross the tube it is twisted 1:10 and its favorite bullet is the 120 gr. ballistic tip the test group put 5 of em in a circle bout the size of a nickel at 100 yds. its got a thumbhole stock with beautiful fiddleback in it as this rifle weighs in at 14 Lbs. this rifle was built to shoot at coyotes up to a mile out from a pickup truck but shortly after having this build he ended up with macular degeneration and well thats the end of that,so I just put a 30mm scope on it and am gonna sight it in and go see if I can find me a mile out coyote just to fire this tiger tank at and see how close I can get to taggin it,this is not a rifle a lot of people would have a practical use for but I would consider selling it all in scope and mounts and rifle package for $1200.00 it is in excellent condition with less than 50 rounds down the pipe.

What scope is on the rifle?

a 6-24x50 30mm A1 optic tactical as I sold the vari X III 6.5 x20 leupold that was on it years ago so all I got at this time is this cheap scope but Ill bet it still allows me to have a lil fun and make Wile E. Coyote do a lil dance accross the prairie.

howdy quacker I was thinkin of callin upon you for that pic thing but i just loaded up a couple boxes of some whizz-bang ammo for the 264 and were supposed to get a big snow storm wednesday-thursday so it sounds like play time whatta ya think bout that talk to you soon.
