But he was such a nice boy. Always smiling, helping old ladies across the street and carrying their groceries for them. He loved dogs, kittens, and little children. He was getting his life together and wanted to go to college and become a doctor, ministering to the poor and downtrodden.  Alas, now his dreams will never be fullfilled, just because of a killer with a gun. It just isn't fair! L.W.

Yup, take a few photos, bag the body and hose down the area.
Surprising the homeowner had the latitude when the article said he "emerged from his house", confronted the boys - one ran and the other shot. That phrase might perk up the ears
of the local prosecuting attorney.

As a fellow St Louis guy I remember the whole knock out game thing very well. I was very upset when the perp was allowed to walk because witnesses declined to participate. That struck a nerve with me because I was a victim of an attack late one night in the fall of 2010 that mirrors what happened to the other guy except I was younger and escaped any serious injury. I did learn a very valuable lesson that night and one I will never forget. It is very tragic that a young kid died, don't get me wrong, but in the end, the world is better off.
Help keep our sport going. take a kid outdoors!
