If your expander sets the case mouth at .311, could a fella seat .312 bullets or would it be too snug? A buddy is facing this dilemma and I wasn't sure what to tell him. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Be sure the case mouth is well chamfered inside and there shouldn't be a problem but, the only way to know for sure is try it.

Thanks. I didn't think .001" would make a difference, but sometimes I get hammered for thinking smile

Kinda like pistol brass, one needs the chamfer or bell. Flat based bullets are the worst. If the bullet has a bevel then it should work fine. Just make sure it is centered going in and go slow to start.
