Wolf or Coyote? #7479779 02/23/13 Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 488 Stanchfield, MN S Slayer_mn1 OP Campfire Member OP Slayer_mn1 Campfire Member S Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 488 Stanchfield, MN We've got a Few timbers moving into the area here and I want some of your opinions as to whether this is a young wolf or a huge yote? (date is off on the camera)

But the ears look rounded and the nose looks shorter.

The wildlife officers tell you that so you don't pressure them to open a season and hunt. The same thing has happened to hogs in Kansas.
