I have this Sage II 5 weight flyrod that has years of fishing left in it for trout streams where ever you may fish. It is 8 foot 6 inches long, I am wanting to sell it for $165.00.

I don't really need it, but if you get desperate...

Nah. I'm just trying to make up my mind because I just bought a whole new 3-weight outfit. Already have a 5-weight but it probably isn't as good as a Sage. Still wavering.

After further thought, I think I'll pass on this one.

I have fly rods coming out my ears so I'm not interesting in buying but that would make an excellent trout rod for somebody. I've always liked those 8.5' rods a little better than 9'.

I been fishing a Sage Graphite II 8'6" 5 wt flyrod since I bought it in 1982- its been my go to trout rod for a lot of years. I had a problem with the reel seat so I sent it back to Sage. Thinking that I would not have the rod for a whole season, I bought a Sage Graphite 3 same length and wt. I fished it for about a week when I get a call guess what your rod is back. Never fished the 3 again. I still have it. I just like the 2 better. Good rod for the trout fishing and even light bass and pan fish too. I don't need another rod. My other favorite is a Scot 8'6" for 5wt. My last fish I caught was a brown on a wooly bugger on Friday. Its Spring and the fishing while slow is picking up, water is cold do to snow melt, you work for them.
