I got lucky and came across a S&W 642 airweight today. I paid for it and went to put it on my permit this afternoon, but won't be able to pick it up until next week. The thing is it does not come with box or papers so I'm curious if it will handle +P loads. It is a no-dash, no lock 642 and the SN is brh11XX if that helps anyone with knowledge if these things.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Just looked at my manual for official answer, +P ok but warning about increased wear. +P+ a definite no!

Thank you sir. Truth is it will likely never see either, but I was curious.
