Just want to clarify in case there are questions.

Those of us in NC are not related to those in Tennessee. The Appalachians presented an impenetrable barrier to our forefathers preventing an intermingling of NC blood with that of Tennesseans.

Further, the Tennesseans on this forum do not project forth a viable representation of typical, and certainly not proper, "Southern cultural protocol".

That is all.

Asheville is the San [bleep] of the south.

Won't be long before your purple state is blue. A few more homos and you'll have it 'licked'.

I don't really have a dog in this fight. I'm stuck in NC because that happens to be where I'm stationed. We deer hunt on Bragg and make the drive to Campbell for muzzleloader season. Neither of us loves the locals that hunt Bragg but he has a special place in his heart for TN hunters on Campbell. His favorite phrasse is, "ET (East Tennessee [bleep]) go home." He was born and raised there too.

I was making a joke actually, in response to the giant whizzing match among the Tennessee boys that has apparently spilled over here from another forum, that no one but them seems to understand. Most Tennesseans I've known were quality folk, some were jerks, just like NC or anywhere else. I don't personally know any of the TN guys on here.
But like I said, my op was meant to be humorous, not taken seriously.
