Saw a few blurbs on this. Limit is 6cm on the blade and no more than 1/2" wide. My question is whether that means the blade can't be more than a half inch from the edge to the spine or is that half an inch wide for the grip. Goes into effect on April 25 so of course I am going to buy a "traveling knife" to keep on my person. Sure would be nice if something like the Kershaw Scallion qualified.

The 1/2 inch pertains to the widest part of the blade.
Knives that qualify, GEC Pemberton, Case Peanut, etc... No locks.
