Nice Rifleman, I just got a 300 Weatherby in the Vanguard, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.
Good luck!

I think they forgot to cut the barrel to 26" finish length and crown it. That's why it was so cheap. grin

Nice buy!

Congrats, my CRF M70 in 300 WBY is one of my best shooters.

For factory fodder mine really does well with hornady 180 gr interlock SST.

Cheap, fly straight, kill dead.

Dave,

I have a CM version that's among my best shooters as well, .5 MOA with 180 TSX @3150 fps.

This is actually the third .300 Roy M-70 I'll have owned.

I placed a bid last week, really hoping just to score it for the action as a potential donor. Never expected that bid to hold up.

I'm thinking I'll probably end up shooting the donor though... wink

Ahhhhh, donor.. I was wondering what you saw in a plastic-stocked rifle when I KNOW your preference is for beautiful wood... smile smile

You're more practiced than me then, but I'll show a pic anyways since I stumbled across it in my photobucket while looking for an old fishing photo.
