My almost 4 year old has a lower with 30 rd magazine that he uses to hunt monsters. Yesterday while in the safe, he asked me if I had a "telescope" that he could use for his gun. While I have an old scope and rings I am missing an upper. I remembered my Father-in-law telling me about a friend of his with a busted upper from a Carbon15, so I asked him to ask his friend about it and it had been thrown away. I am wondering if anyone has a broken/non-functioning upper, that will allow a scope to be attached, that I can have. I'm not looking for a functional upper. I don't plan to mount a barrel on my son's monster gun anytime soon... please let me know if you have one or have any idea how tp mount a "telescope" to a lower without an upper.

I think the obvious solution is to buy your son a toy gun to hunt monsters. Then start teaching him to not play with your real guns.

+1 don't confuse your child with a play gun that is made out of real gun parts. I have heard of worse ideas but this one is right up there.

How do you "break" an upper anyways?

Spray paint it & put an inexpensive forearm/rail on it.
