The three I've tried have been close to garbage. All earlier models.

Maybe they've improved recently but I'll stick with other scopes in this price range.

Lack of eye relief was my biggest gripe. Three inches on a 325 WSM led to blood in my eye!

I have only had one but it was as stated above. Spend just a little more and get better quality...

Ps- problem wasn't optics but mechanical quality. It fell apart on a light-kicking 257 AI w/in a year or so.

It's not tremendous glass, but I bought one when I wanted to try using a fixed 6X. The price was right and it worked as advertised. It tracked well, held zero, and I killed a bunch of deer while I was using it.

No complaints, but I wasn't expecting Zeiss or Leupold quality optics either.

Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws.

No eye relief and my 10/22 broke the reticle in one. I wouldn't buy another one.

I have 8 of the Gameseeker 4-12x40s, all on RF rifles. I had a couple of them on CF rifles, a 223 and 25 WSSM, but the eye relief was too short for comfort, even on a light recoiling rifle like a 223. They work OK on RF rifles that aren't going to be shot in low-light, non-critical, situations or shot a lot.

I would probably buy a Simmons ProSport 4-12x40 AO if I was buying a cheap scope today
