Ya right, this teacher could not stop a girl on girl fight.

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- A vicious attack inside a Clark County classroom is caught on camera. A spokesperson for the district says Arbor View High School administrators are aware of last week's incident and are investigating what happened.

News 3's Christine Kim an exclusive interview with the victim and her mother.

The mom, Stephanie, alerted News 3 to two videos she says makes her sick to her stomach.

News 3 is not releasing her last name to protect her daughter's identity.

She says her teen had been bullied before but calls this, not one girl bullying another but an attack.
A warning, some viewers might find the video footage hard to watch.

The cell phone video shows one girl thrown to the ground, punched and kicked in the head and upper back. This happens over and over inside an Arbor View High School classroom last Thursday.

That wasnt fighting that was being jumped and assaulted, the girls mom says.

.
The mother of the 15-year-old girl attacked in the video calls the actions toward her youngest child barbaric.

It's very emotional. It's very gut-wrenching, Stephanie said

It's even more difficult to see for the freshman in the clip.

I watch it every now and then it's upsetting, says the victim.

She says even before she was discharged from the hospital, the video showing how she received her injuries had gone viral through text messages, Facebook and Twitter.

People are commenting that she got beat up and that I deserved it, the teen says.

The teen says a fellow freshman had threatened her in the school hallway before third period biology but responded by saying she didn't want to fight.

Before that class ended a second clip shows the camera recording the start of what Stephanie calls a brutal attack.

They all stood there and watched, Stephanie said.

CCSD says a teacher was inside the classroom and tried to stop the incident, but left to get help from a male teacher.

The beating stops when a student intervenes to break it up. Stephanie believes teachers need more training.

I just couldnt believe that would happen in a classroom, Stephanie said.

.
She's speaking up as a mother who knows this is just one of several bullying incidents involving CCSD students this school year.

While her daughter was fortunate not to sustain major injuries, she wants others to know that bullying is not the way to go.

Everybody is going to have differences people are going to have disagreements but no matter what it is it doesnt give anybody the right to violate another human being, Stephanie said.

The 15 year old girl says she wants to go back to school, because although it's embarrassing, she's standing up for herself.

CCSD says the district does not condone bullying or violence and released a statement that reads, in part:

"The Clark County School District has strict, zero-tolerance rules in place regarding bullying and fighting. The District has always had policies and procedures in place to deal with such behavior."
