more tax = more "income" for the State has been disproven.

If you want less of something tax it.

Housing crash had exactly nothing to do with the POTUS. it was a combination of bad laws (congress) and poor oversight (on firms who trend HEAVILY towards liberalism). This is at the point of being beyond debate. (And I dont mean in an Al Gore way. I mean in real way.)
