You should be able to cut and cook the venison all at once now. not just for metal anymore!
It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

Ellis brand, top notch in my opinion. Made in Wisconsin.
The head miters 45 degrees both ways and she'll do a 10" round cut at 90 degrees. (that's a pretty healthy sized cut).
Sure are going to be able to slice some cheese with that thing Dave.

Thanks Dave, Amazing how compact that is. You'll never regret the Ellis either. A friend here has one that lives in Stainless Steel 8 hrs a day. Great Machine!
We eat organic in our house, we just have to shoot and gut it first.....

Ok everyone, I need some good thoughts directed my way. At 1:15 pm I will be in an interview for our 3 County Supervisor position. It's between myself and another co-worker in the office. So far the other girl's interview lasted about 1 1/4 hours and I hear she interiews like a rockstar! I'm trying to keep in mind that I've been here 7 years and that I'm experienced. I bring alot of laughs and energy to the office. You could say I'm an open book with all my stories I tell of our "redneck life" we lead. Uff this is tough especially since my eye has been twitching ALL morning long, I'm dizzy and I could just puke right now. I'm a shoe in...we hope. Thanks everyone!

Well they didn't ask me, but you are a shoe in. If I'd have know this before, I'd have let the air out of two of her tires this morning.
You already know you're the "man" for the job, so all she was doing in there was jibber jabbering. Because it was a long interview, doesn't mean it was a good one. I had two interviews for this job. Since I didn't try to dazzle them with BS, combined they took about 45 minutes.
Make sure they're aware you know your job inside and out. You bring a lot to the table, besides knowing the job, your attitude is great and you keep office moral up. Give them examples of why YOU are the one they NEED to fill that job.
Have confidence that you can do the job. It will show in the interview. If they gave you questions or a job over-view. Go study it at your lunch break. Or take 10-15 minutes before the interview and go hide in the can, and review it so you know what's up.
GOOD LUCK MA!!! We're pulling for you here!
Camp is where you make it.

Well after 1 hr and 45 minutes, my interview was done. Phew!! That was the hardest interview I've ever been in and after many pages of questions answered I left my boss with this. "Thank you for letting me interview for this position. In the end it is ultimately your decision. If that decision is me at my current position or me in the supervisor position, I am here to do a job and do that job at 100%. You have a very hard decision just remember I'm here to help, support, and do whatever job I'm here to do, I will do my best". End of interview. Glad it's done but now the waiting begins, probably a few weeks to a month. Thanks for the support everyone!! I appreciate it. Whatever happens, it's meant to be.

Hey Pam, If they call me, I am going to tell them you are the one to hire. I wonder if they have my phone number?
Best of luck to you and I will send a little prayer upstairs for ya!

The polar ice caps are melting... so maybe some of that melting will come south so we can have spring thaw?
Maybe we should ship some our lake ice north for those polar bears?
Something clever here.

been warm here, upper 60's yesterday, looks like spring finally is sticking around. remember Dave, it's easier to hide easter eggs in the snow, just throw them off the front step of the house!

Lots of ice here. Our problem is the ice in the street along the curbs. It's keeping the water from the melt from reaching the storm drains. Everyone has a large pond at the drive way entrance.
Have seen a few flocks of geese heading North.

We have 4 dogs. They process a 50 lb bag of ole roy in about 2 days. All that ole roy.... it's out in the yard. Different shape, different smell... but it's out there.... everywhere.... I think we'll hide the eggs inside the house.

Geese are showing up here too. Dumb bastards.
They are going to have to wait a while to find any open water.
