I lived in NZ for a short while. Gun laws are stricter. But some things are really nice, people still pick you up when you hitchhike or break down. People are NICE. I have started up more conversations in Bars that have led to more invites to take me hunting and fishing then I can count on two hands. My buddy shot a red stag. Total cost, gas and a case of beer as a thank you. Negatives, Gas and Beer is expensive and food is higher. Pluses, its a very clean country, and BEAUTIFUL!!!! I Dream about New Zealand Everyday. I sure wouldn't be happy not being able to carry, but they plan to turn up the heat on we who carry soon enough in the US, you can count on that.

Then I have an excellent suggestion for you, but before I proffer a recommendation, I would ask if they take umbrage with having sidearms whilst in the shower, use of flouride in the public water supply and of course private access to healthcare...
