Good Day, Picked up a .32 Saturday and have a couple questions from other owners please. 1. The gunshop sold me PMC Bronze 71 grain cartridges but when I got home and read the manual, learned there are preferred rounds. Dealer not close, think if would be OK to shoot the PMCs? 2. ANyone ever try .32 blanks...training dog thing in Seecamp? 3. Holster recommendation for front right pocket if you would please. Thanks a lot, Smiley

Buddy of mine has two of em, he said they are designed for Winchester silver tips, I don't think shooting those PMCs would hurt it but if you're carrying it for self defense I'd shoot what they recommend.

The Seecamp is designed to function with the factory recommended ammo, in the same way a Ferrari is designed to run on high-octaine gasoline, not diesel.
As far as a holster, I carry mine in an Uncle Mike's "Sidekicker" (size 1) pocket holster and find it works as well in my Wrangler jeans as it does in the pocket of a pair of dress trousers.

The Seecamp was designed with the Winchester Silvertip in mind because it was the best .32 ACP at the time (still an excellent round if you want expansion from a .32 ACP). The PMC round just may work perfectly, but the only way to know is to give it a try.

There are now Speer Gold Dots available for the .32, and that's what I'd try, but it very possibly may run better with the Silvertips.

My Seecamp runs like a freight train with the Silver Tips; with other ammo, not so much.

The Seecamp 32 LWS is designed to accept cartridges no longer than 0.91", and Larry Seecamp has put a spacer in the magazines to ensure this length works well. He has a complicated explanation on his web site which doesn't explain much, but basically the length and spacer are there to prevent the semi-rimmed cartridge rims from overlapping each other and hanging up. The 32 ACP can come in many lengths, so knowing which is which is important.
Mine has worked well for 24 years with no malfunctions using his recommended loads. Check his web site for recommended cartridges. Those are simple explanations and worth reviewing.
You own the current box - try them and see if they work. If they do, then they're fine - they're within the length tolerance. If they don't, no harm done pressure-wise, they just might not function in the LWS.
