I think its fun getting to know the deer for years before I eat them! Nice bucks..hunting should be fun..not just for score..
WSM, Acouple years ago I hunted your country..fooled around there for 2 wks looking for a buck..Finally said the heck with it and packed my truck for the trip home..Stopped the last hour to visit a friend on his small farm..He suggested I watch a field near the barn the last minutes of the season..Just a few minutes before quitting time a nice buck came in to the field..I had my .25-06..One shot at about 350 did him in..Never would I have believed that would happen..Just can't give up I guess..

Same story here Darrik, didn't take any pics until about 5 years ago.
One of the best aspects of the 'Fire is looking at everyone's pics!
Maybe have a 243 deer pic in about 7 months. Couple 25-06 victims from years ago but of course no pics....grin

I really regret not documenting a good photo history. Just too young and dumb then I guess. I stress taking pictures to my kids now...and they understand why. I'm gonna buy a really good camera this summer...and look for advice from guys here...especially one...
Canon G15. Thank me later.

If your 243 ends up on Elk's bed for a pic I'm gonna be pissed....grin
Yeah, got a G15 earlier this year. Nothing like the high dollar long shot cameras but for close range pics it works great.
Little easier to stick in a pocket as well.
Nice whitetail Law!

Hard to lose rifles of color...but I seem to.. They just blend in too well...
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

I started 3 or 4 years ago. I wish I would have started sooner and got pictures hunting with my grandfather when he could run the prairie. I get a kick out of takeing pictures of my girls chasing critters. I need to load a bunch of older pics. I was late getting in the camera game....one of my biggest regrets. Still lack a few skills too, but I'm getting better.
