Well I try to use H4895 Or IMR 4885 as my"go to" powders for large cal non magnum load rifles. I relaid everything from .223 to 8X56R rounds with it. But even when they ar similiarrily numnered, they are NOT a grain for grain straight exchange. Don't use a powder charge for H4895 if you are using IMR4895 I also try to use Unique or all my pistol loads.All my pistol magnum loads pretty much use 2400. My exeception is 10mm auto loads. I have been using Blue Dot,HP38,Unique, and 2400 for them. Have yet so see any of the outperform the others so much. Mayne try some Trailboss in one? Going to have to break down and try some Ramshot powder once.

Ramshot is da' bomb. Using TAC and Big Game regularly. But I started out using IMR4895 for just about everything like you.

RL15 is what I do probably 90% of my loading with, then IMR-4350 but that is being replaced quickly by Ramshot Hunter which is AWESOME.

I go for the variety.

H & IMR 4350 and 4831

All the Reloder series.

Ramshot Big Game in the 7-08.

I must have too many guns that are too picky....

.223 = TAC or H-322
.22-250 = Big Game
.243 = Varget or Hunter
.257 Wthby = Magnum or IMR-7828
.30-06 = IMR-4064 (150 bullets) and IMR-4350/H-4350 for 165s and 180s)
.300 Win = IMR-4350
.300 Wthby = IMR-7828
.358 Win = TAC or W-748
.338 Win = IMR-4350 or RL-22

.38 SPL, 9mm, .45 ACP or .45 Colt = TiteGroup
.357 = H110/W296 or Blue Dot
.41 Mag = H110/W296 or 2400 (used to use Blue Dot)
.44 Mag = H110/W206 or 2400 (sometimes Blue Dot)

I'll also use Unique or TiteGroup for milder loads in magnum handgun rounds.

It is a tie between IMR 4350 and H 4831sc. I am thinking of giving EFW's Ramshot Hunter a go here before long.

If considering my current rifles only, not shotguns or handguns, my list would be

Li'l gun - .22 Hornet, 357 mag.
IMR 4198 - .222, 45-70
Varget ( or RL 15) - .243, .308, 375 H & H, 9x57
H4350 - 7x57, 7x57R, .30-06, 8x57 & 8x57R
IMR 4831 - 25-06, 7x64

too many powders! I have also been happy using W748 for .222 to 8x57

Easy for me.

Magpro for the bigger cartridges.

H-335 for the smaller cartridges.
