The folks in Wyoming call it "just another storm before the next storm."

In Wyoming there are two seasons- winter and the 4th of July.

Yeah, and I noticed that in the two years I lived in Denver and visited my wife every couple weeks up in Miles City, that Wyoming didn't plow until the snow stopped - sometime in April or May.... smile

I spent way too much time in Cheyenne, SoDak, and Nebraska, just trying to get laid. Being faithfull can be a trial...If it wasn't for all those top- florescent-painted steel fence posts lining the I-25, I might never have made it, many times. One just runs a middle route between the things during a ground blizzard, and one should be on the road yet. More or less...

We just got 19" of heavy snow. It's not even thinking about stopping either! Not going to be on the road as early as I hoped for the IB3 shoot. cry

The "blizzard" we were supposed to get was supposed to dump 12"-18" of snow. We might have gotten 4" at the house. The meteorologists have not gotten one of these storms right for us this year. It wasn't even a good snow, it was dry due to the cold. We need the moisture and I was hoping for a heavy wet snow

Yesterday morning they were calling for up to 20" of snow in Denver and I was dreading shoveling ... again.

I lucked out though. We only got an inch or two of snow and nothing stuck to the pavement or concrete. This morning it's clear, sunny, and cold. smile

80 degrees here yesterday. Wind chill of 13 degrees and big snow flakes this morning. I go over 6 overpasses on my way to work and only 1 of them didn't have a wreck on it. I was thankful I didn't get hit by some loonie.

huntsonora:

You must live in the Black Forest of up on the Monument/Palmer Divide. All we got on the west side of Colorado Springs was a dusting. We do need the moisture.

with this latest storm, my thoughts drift back to calling coyotes, but yet I'm heading to KS. to go turkey hunting from work today.
Got mayeb 6" out of this last one at my house. We'll take it as we need it.
Was 2 degrees at my place this a.m. I hope the cold fronts are about done since my wood pile is about gone.

It was 70F here at dawn this morning, SW winds 15-20. Winds are now out of the NW at 10-15 and it's down to 52F.

Supposed to be some strong T-Storms headed this way in the next hour or two. Gunner500, Milespatton, and Websterparish are gonna get wet, too. grin

This is the first spring in six years that rainfall has been "normal".

Had to go into Fort Collins this morning. Due to the nasty roads I took my Cummings Dodge. Every time I put a little too much power down the tires broke loose. This is April right?
Was 8 degrees when I left home.
