Annie, I'm so happy for you that you made the move a few years ago. I hope things are going well.

No snow to speak of here, but it's been too cold for any real melting the last 2 weeks or so. What little melt that's occurred has been from how strong the sun is getting.

'Tis time for a new season, methinks.

oh and I hope it stays cold and keeps snowing, even though I got stuck pushing berms back today in prep for MORE snow on the way.

I love this time of year, snowmachine heaven

Yeah it's that time of the year when you can travel
across the crust on the snow and the dogs don't sink in.

wind, melt and cold has made for a very hard crust in the interior

lmao, I pulled off the trail up onto a snow berm last weekend so my boy could go by and be the lead dog and I could follow momma who was toting the sled trailer behind her machine.

hit the gas a lil heavy and didn't get my fat azz on the uphill side fast enough and turned that Skandic widetrack over on the trail, it was up against the steep berm and after unsuccessfully trying to get it upright a few times against that berm finally wised up and drug it on it's side into the trail so I could finally set it upright! blush

by that time my fam had burned up the trail aways and held up wondering WTH is dad doing??? crazy

just being old and foolish, and enjoying the hell outa spring with my family grin

That car must have been a beaut at one time. It's one of many that line
the banks at the Eklutna Tail Race.

Yup, that would be my guess, lots of them came from Ft Rich as they still have the base stickers on them.

Yeah, the time of year when the gas runs out and the price rises crazy high...$12??? or something when they fly it in, and then ration it besides. frown
