There are two of those "assault pots" in our kitchen. They are even the BLACK HAND GRIP type and one has a stainless steel barrel. Where do we go to get them registered and receive a proper governmental approved education for their use. I probably need to purchase a safe to store them in. Do you realize that they can be purchased at trade shows and you don't even have to submit to a background check!!!

Lost all my pressure cookers in a canoe incident. Yeah, don't ask.
I blame all these darn cooking shows, with their gratuitous use of pressure cookers. We didn't have this problem before the advent of reality cooking TV.

so if a neighbor borrows your pressure cooker, does the neighbor have to have a background check? and what about an insurance policy? have to report it stolen within 24 hours? the list goes on......

I would imagine more of the school shooters will take note on the pressure cooker weapon. If you run fast suicide will not be necessary and they won't have to fool with all the new background checks.

At the very least we need to demand universal background checks on these devices. Today, you can even buy them on the internet. Even if it only saves one child... I thought of that very thing yesterday afternoon - and I'll be compiling a letter to the editor before the end of today..
