I won a Stoeger Uplander 16 ga at a PF banquet last weekend. I would like to sell it if you know anyone interested. Otherwise, I am looking to trade it in on something. Hmmmmm. Need a slug gun for the kiddos pretty soon. Dont have a pistol. A tack-driving .243 or .25/06 would be nice. Doggone it, my wish list is longer than that gun will bring in trade methinks!
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

One source says the gobernment is buying up all the 22 and other pistol calibers along with 223 and 7.62 X 39 ammo to keep it out of the hands from all of us crazzies.

I always keep a good supply of all ammo on hand and I reload so I am not hurting in the least for anything I shoot.

In the last couple weeks I've been able to pick up 240 rounds of Tula 7.62x39, but .22 has been very tough to come by. Shotgun shells seem to be available. I'm buying a couple boxes of ammo for each of my deer rifles now so I don't have to worry about having ammo this fall. .223, 22 LR, 45 a.c.p. and 9 mm are very tough to find right now.

Stan in SC smart man! BM, I have an old colt 1903 pocket hammerless 32 ACP it was made in 1918 IIRC. I'd be interested in that 16 ga, I have a PF member here who is looking for a sxs 16

The Fleet Farm here hasn't had any 223 on the shelves in a month. I picked up some 165 grain Federal Fusions Monday in 06 for under$20 a box. Gander was charging over $40 for them. Gander did have a sign stating they would match competitors price if you brought in proof..........

Gander has always had that policy. I just figured I'd go to the cheapest spot and buy it. They should be the ones to keep their prices competetive, not us. I'm pretty much done with GM unless I really can't find it somewhere else.
They're turning into a clothing store that sells guns and fishing rods. I can get better deals on fishing gear from Fleet Farm 10 of 10 times. GM does have a better selection of ammo though.

I was out in the driveway this morning when I felt something tugging on my pants leg. When I looked down, there sat a squirrel looking at me with a sad look on it's face. Than to my amazement it spoke. "Mister when will it warm up? My nutz are still frozen." Trace of snow here this AM. I heard they got dumped on in the far Northern part of the state and could get up to a foot of snow today.

Further east of us are getting belted at present & the Trans Canada Highway has been closed 3 times in the last 24 hours. Starting to wonder if the ice is going to be out for walleye opener Paul

We ended up with about a foot down here on the south end of the Cities. Ammo update-none to be had at Wally-World today. Nothing came in on the truck. Went to Fleet Farm after work, and picked up a second box of Federal Premium '06 165 gr. BTSP. I've got two boxes now so set for deer season. 'Gonna pick up a couple boxes of Remmy 180 gr. loads for the Savage. I don't want there to be any chance of having to hunt for ammo this fall. They had no .22 LR. A good supply of .223 if you don't mind paying a buck a round for it. Too much for me.

14" to 18" of snow in the Lake Superior snow belt of WI according to the 10:00 PM weather report.
Nice and sunny here this AM.
Walleye season opens the first Saturday in May. I doubt that some of the more popular Northern lakes will be ice free.
