Found a little time last week to get in the shop. Not the clearest phone pics...sorry. Can anyone guess the woods?

I need to get back to building some, I have a bunch of turned pots, but need to punch the holes and finish them out. I never could get the sound I liked from my wood pots, so switched over to poly with glass sound bds. I tried glass bbs with my black walnut pots and never could get where I wanted to be with slate or glass surfaces. Maybe Al would change that as I love AL on poly with glass.
