I noticed that Midway has Blems for sale again. Go to "rifle bullets" and select caliber to see what they have.

Thanks for the heads up. The barrel doesn't care, and neither do I -- but my wallet does.

They've had very mixed availability; I was able to score 500- 68 gr HPBTs and there were 77s available at that point, too. For a brief time 60 gr VMax was available, and I was able to score 200- 55 gr GMXs. Keep your eyes on their site a couple times a day if you're in the market for .224 cal bullets. Today I got an availability notification on the 75 gr AMax but by the time I checked they were already gone .

You scored. You could turn around and resell em to the AR/Zombie Apocalypse crowd at a healthy profit... Those snot-green tips really make all the difference when dealing w/ the undead ! I am keeping an eye on them a couple times a day hoping to snag more .224s!

I got 500 recently. Upon first glance I thought they were 50g z-max but after loading and shooting I think they are the yellow poly carbinate tipped Noslers. They shoot fine but the tips are brittle. They are not the bright green of the z-max's. Wish I could have ordered more.

I recently picked up a supply of .35/180gr SP's as Trail Boss bullets in my Whelens, I cannot find any blemishes in four boxes.
My buddie grabbed 500 .30/180gr BTSP's they were defin1tely Hornady Interlocks. $19/100.
They still have both in stock.

I would stay away from the 139 grain gmx seconds that midway has. I had like 3 grains of variation in mine.
