developed a table defining which lens covers to order from
various manufacturers for (at least) the currently popular
rifle scopes?
Every time I get a new scope, I go through the same hassle
of determining which lens covers to order.

We have the luxury of being able to tote the scoped rifle into the store and to start trying various sizes.
Several outfits ship 'em with covers installed and that might could be a good way to nip all in the buds.
As to batting 100% on ordering the covers seperate,I could never get that lucky,as there are too many deviations amongst my favorites(A/O non-A/O,etc.)..................

If I remember correctly, Midway has the info. for the scopes they sell.

crowmagnum - If you go to the Mid-south Shooters Supply web site and look up the scope you want to buy lens covers for, it will show you the scope and the butler creek flip open lens caps that the scope requires. CEJ..

Both the Brownell's and Sinclair catalogs have the charts for selecting the correct covers. All you need to do is measure the objective and ocular dimensions and order accordingly.
