So sorry to hear this, but take heart and be encouraged by the promise of the faith your mom and you have. While we all cling to this life, when we go on the next we would never wish to come back. Prayers for comfort, peace and continuing faith.

having lost my mom to breast cancer in 2002,then dad to lung cancer in 2004 i know all to well what you are going thru. toughest 2 years of my life. things like this will teach you to enjoy life and your good health while you have it. my parents were the glue that kept the family together and things change when they are gone. i wish you well,i know you don't to see her go but with cancer there comes a time to end the suffering.

Man I read your post and tears came to my eyes. I have similar fond memories of my mother who died back in '03 at the age of 56. I still think about how we'd kiss everytime we'd see one another, and how her cheek felt against mine. I miss her terribly but am grateful to a loving God that I was blessed to have her as long as I did. I wouldn't be the man I am today without her influence upon me.
You and your family are in the prayers of mine. Really.
My father was given 6 months to live back in January of '11 and he came and lived with us in hospice. Sadly he didn't make it near that long, for the time we had together in our home was some that I will never forget. The kids talk about it all the time, and in spite of a severely strained relationship he and I were able to be at peace together when he left us.
May your last days with your mother be as fulfilling as was mine with my father.
