Does anyone have a newer Hornady manual with this data in it by chance? The newest manual I have is #7, just wanna make sure I'm in the right ballpark.

If you stay between 60 and 74 grains you should be ok.
As the the one that your rifle likes you will have to check.

My Dad was using their loading data 300WSM 180 grain and regular 4831. I'm not sure how he did it, but he ended up with a fast load with very flattened primers. I pointed it out to him and he ignored my cautions because it was a "book load". Several months later in much hotter weather the bolt locked up on him and it took him about a half an hour to get it out. Like I said I do not know how he did I it, just make sure you work up the load.

I pulled out the newest Hornady Manual (9th edition) and see that it does not show loading data for H 4831 when loading the 165 GMX in the 300 WSM.
The manual shows 9 powders with all but one topping out at 3100 fps in their Winchester Model 70 with a 24 inch barrel, Win 760 us shown credited with 3150 fps.
With H 4350 and the 165 GMX they show a minimum load of 57.0 grains and a mximum load of 67.5 grains.
With IMR 4350 and the 165 GMX they show a minimum load of 59.5 grains and a maximum load of 67.6 grains.
With IMR 4831 and the 165 GMX they show a minimum load of 60 grains and a maximum load of 68.7 grains.
I own two 300 WSM rifles and they both shoot best with 168 grain Barnes TSX bullets and H 4350.
Hope this helps.

Hey I'm new to the site. I recently purchased a 300 WSM and I've been loading up 180 gr accubonds with 67 gr of RL19, and so far I'm very happy with the results. Just curuious... Many people on this thread shoot 165 gr bullets out of their 300 WSM's. What are the advantages you guys have found with the 165 gr bullet? Also, RL17 has a very similar burn speed to imr4350. Should I be using that instead of RL19? Allient suggests RL17 for short mag cartridges.

I don't know if there's an advantage really, but 165 gr bullets out of this cartridge are a good compromise of velocity, energy, recoil, trajectory and they're good for critters up to moose given the right bullet design.
