Just got in a shooter 99 series A .243 Win., with sn# B133xxx. It has a top tang safety. The stock has been cut and I'm looking for a replacement. The pull on this cut version is 12 inches and using the old method of measuring from the inside bend of my elbow to the first joint on my index finger, I measure 16 inches.
This makes trying to shoot this rifle like trying to hold a pistol to my cheek! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

If anybody has a shooter grade butt stock with a pistol grip I would sure be interested in buying.

Boyd makes replacement stocks for the 99 for a decent price.
