Another thread made me think of this. It is kind of laughable now, but we were the Fighting Jackrabbits. My mom also graduated from there and the school had her draw the mascot. Bet it instills fear in the opponents. Hahaha!!!

Colville, wa is currently the Indians. There is a push being made to ease up on the use of " Indian " names. They may well become, " Pre colonial native inhabitants of this land ".....wrap that around a football helmet.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

My hometown Louise, tx was the hornets. Now A city between Austin and San Antonio, TX, called New braunfels has a official mascot the unicorn. They even have a unicorn painted on the water tower. http://www.gounicorns.com/

We were the Bullock Creek Lancers. Not too bad-

My high school was the Trojans. At some point before I started there, they changed it to the Gladiators. I don't know who made that decision, but I always appreciated it.
