These really have my attention. The 3-15x42 has got me interested enough that I may have to upgrade a scope or 2. Same coating as the Victory Diavari's and made in Germany for a relatively great price. They also have the same type of target turret (zero stop and locks down) as the Victory.
What's not to love? Who bought one?

I have a 3-15 and love it!! Here it is on a pre 64 standard grade 30-06. This was the last target I shot with this combo. Eric

IMHO, the Conquest HDs are heavy. Believe similar comments have been made elsewhere. Optically they are a fine piece of glass.

EricM, looks like you have the target turret. Any issues returning to zero? I can't imagine there would be.

IMHO, the Conquest HDs are heavy. Yes they are, but it's all relative. They are 1" scopes, so they are much lighter than most of the 30mm scopes out there. At about 18oz. they are much lighter than many of the super zoom scopes out there. Weaver, Burris and others are 24oz in some cases. But they are about 5oz. more than a Leupold 4.5-14 The optics are VERY nice. IMHO much nicer than any VX-3, and nicer than the Conquest 3-9x40 MC's I have owned.

Sakoluvr,
I'm running the regular hunting turrets, with a RapidZ 600 reticle.
I considered the weight against what else is out there and it's not bad for what you get. I'd take this over a Leupold 4.5-14 any day of the week and then some.

I only peeped through a pair at cabela's last weekend....Eric is right the optics have some WOW factor...the 3-15 is a big scope by my standards but I liked the 2-10 or whatever they call it. Erci what mounts/rings did you use for the pre 64 Tx

I have the HD5 5-25-50 Great scope, very nice glass, locking turrets. Seems to be built a little more robust than previous conquest. I like that.Mines on top a 338-378 with a Farrel 20 MOA base and TPS rings.I have around 50 moa of adjustment up to work with for long range.I only need 19.4 moa for 1000 yards.I am very pleased the way it set up.
1 and done

Not too long ago I bought 3 of the 3-9x40 MC that were on closeout. I ended up selling them all, and was all set to buy a few Leupold VX-3.
But after looking at the HD5, I was really impressed.
I liked them so much I bought a 2-10x42 RZ600 for my 308, and a 3-15x42 RZ800 for my 7RM.

I have a 5-25x50 and really like it. Very comparable to the swaroski z5 only a better reticle. Return to zero has been spot on so far as I expect it to continue to be.
