Anyone have any experience with Radical Core Decompression broad heads? They look and sound intriguing. Then again so many advertisements do. LOL

The design "looks" like it would fly, but I don't think it will pull me away from the Slick Trick line.

I could see one of those covered blades hooking a rib or a shoulder blade and pulling off of course pretty easy.

My simple answer NO.

Real answer yes but not that brand and exact design. A guy from either Mass or RI designed one very similar back sometime around 1985ish. I tested it on a few different materials for penatration and it was a no go. From my experiance just to much resistance. Think of it like creating a plug is the best way I can explain it.

I'm not a fan of them. They look wild (which is neat I guess) but I can't imagine they get any penetration.

I would imagine terrible penetration base upon its design

Reminds me of the serpentine broad head.

I saw some of those at a local shop the other day.......intersting, but it looks like there is extra blade area to get the same wound channel. I doubt they would penetrate like a similar 4 blade - I kind of put them in the gimick catagory, sure they would work with a high power setup but won't be on the business end of my traditional setups.
