<br>Effective July 17th, 2002 the State Department has lifted the Munitions ban that suspended all applications to export or otherwise transfer defense articles such as rifles and other firearms as they apply to recreational hunters. Hunters may once again export firearms to Zimbabwe under 22 CFR 23.17.

<br>The language lifting the suspension of applications to export firearms to Zimbabwe will be printed in the July 23rd, 2002 Federal Register Notice. SCI will post the language in the Federal Register notice and further updates on this subject as further information is received.
