Local theater is doing a run on some of the classics. Bought tickets for 8 friends and family, snuck in some drain opener and laughed till tears! Something about seeing it on the big screen I guess... What's your favorite lines..?? Isn't anybody gonna help that poor man???

Certifiable: One of my favorite lines was spoken from behind the curtain by Governor Le Petomane (Mel Brooks) to his busty secretary Miss Stein (Robyn Hilton) "No, no - not in your ear"!
Not many folks in the theater back in 1974 figured out this hilarious line but I did - and my howls of laughter caused the VarmintWife to give me a double elbow jab to my ribs.
No never mind though I kept howling.
Truly one of the funniest movies ever made.
And Hedley Lamarrs (Harvey Korman) line directed at Taggart (Slim Pickens) to gather up a gang of thugs including "rustlers, cutthroats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperadoes, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, half-wits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswagglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass kickers, schit kickers � and Methodists"!
Just thinking about this diatribe makes me howl with laughter to this day!
Lilli Von Shtupps lisp and body language was just hilarious and almost stole the show!
"Ahmm sooo tarred"!
I'm laughing now just remembering her persona.
Mel Brooks had genius back then - and balls.
I would love to see Blazing Saddles again on the big screen myself.
