Does anyone here see a good reason for its use? Reason I ask, I have a customer who is wanting to get rid of (2) 5 gallon buckets of the stuff
I know it is what the military used to preserve guns and magazines but what is a current, good use for it?

Probably would be good for any firearms one was going to bury and leave alone until a SHTF scenario. Outside of that, it probably would make a great fire starting liquid. I am not a good enough fire builder to be able to consistently get wet tinder and kindling to flame up nicely without some help from a petroleum product.

Used to store car/truck/equipment parts also.Every engine ,trans,etc. kit I get is coated w/ cosmoline.
Brake rotors,drums,brgs.Etc.
Do you store any anything metal for extended periods?
