I'm all out of Magpro powder for reloading 270 WSM. I do, however, have a new canister of 4350, and in looking thru reloading data, I see Nosler shows good velocity, and reported accuracy, with this powder. I intend to try out some 130 gr. Accubonds this time around.

Anyone use it, or have experience with this powder in 270 WSM?

63.0 grains of IMR4350, fed 215M with 130 grain Accubond averages 3220 fps in my Sako.

It's one of the few loads that will shoot .5 or slightly better for three shots.

Longshot,
I have tried H4350 in my 270 WSM. 61.0 grains of H4350, 215M and 130 grain BT averaged only 3144 fps. According to my notes it averaged .75 to 1 inch three shot groups with most groups having two shots touching and one shot out. I never played with seating depth due to it being slow.

4350 works very well in a regular 270, no reason it would not is the 270 WSM which has almost the same ballistics as a 270. W780 is the powder that was designed for the WSMs, works very well in all three, and meters through a measure much better than 4350. It does require magnum primers.

Alpine,

My 270 WSM is 250(ish) fps faster than my 270 win's.

IMR 4350 works quite well in mine under 130TTSXs. 63g gives 3260fps from a 23" pipe.
