All:
I have a very nice 16 ga Model 37 that I would like to sell. It has a 28 inch plain bbl with a Mod choke and is a 1970 vintage model. It is completely original and unmodified. Very slick action. I have put about a box of shells through it in the 5 or so years I have owned and that is all.
I am the second owner, and the only thing worth mentioning about this is that it has an isolated and very faint area of light freckling on the receiver. Total area involved is about a square inch. It is really a discoloration, the kind of thing you cannot feel with a finger nail or see from certain angles. Other than that, the gun is probably 97-98% overall showing essentially no wear on the metal or wood. An occasional light ding or scuff in the metal is all.
Never planned on selling, but alas, a new acquisition puts this on the block. I am looking to get $350 plus actual shipping or will meet FTF in the SE PA area as well.
I will get some pics up later today and PM if you have any interest.
TIA,
Bob

I thought I could have timed this one with a stop watch. Fine gun right there!

Great shotgun. Works great for left handed hunters because of the bottom ejection.

These are fine shotguns ! Reminds me of when I was.a Kid my best friend had one of these in 12 gauge featherlite model...we spent many of weekends hunting rabbits with that ole shotgun they are one of the best handling field guns I ever used second only to the browning sweet sixteen !

I've got a 20 and a 16 guage 37. I personally like them way better than the 870's I've used, personal preference of course. Bump for a good one.

My brother hunted with one of these for years. I always liked the idea of the bottom ejection. His was a little finicky about ammo. Jammed on him more than once while out in the duck swamp. Didn't seem to like high brass loads too much, so we fed it a steady diet of reloads in AA cases and that seemed to make it run just fine. If I was looking for a good pump gun, I'd buy one of these.

A must have for the 16-GA fan. Not a 12-GA with a 16-GA barrel stuck on it, but a true scaled down 16-GA receiver. Swings like a 20-GA, hits like a 12-GA. Would've snapped this up if I didn't already have one. Looks like it found a good home.
