I have seen some smaller twisters level barns and chew up woods.Hurricanes give you a warning, sometimes take lives, and create widespread destruction.Generally, for most,in the best of circumstances, they are an just a inconvenience. Blizzards and ice storms can do a lot of damage but seldom result in heavy loss of life. Tornados on the other hand are truly evil killers that strike with little of no warning. They scare the Hell out of me.

Stay safe.

People when I lived in southern Calimexistan who were as unconcerned and nonchalant about earthquakes as a mound of ants were amazed, enthralled, and stupified as I'd tell tales of growing up in tornado alley.

I thought they were nuts not caring that the ground could open up and swallow them whole at any given moment and they thought I nuts squared shrugging off that the sky could suddenly vacuum me up to land my frayed carcass somewhere the next county over. It didn't even matter to them when I said I could hole up like a rabbit and wait for sunshine and chirping birds alert me I'm still alive, all fly over folk were crazier 'n pet rabid coons on hot summer days in their fear filled wee little minds.

I pondered that.... and I came to a conclusion.

It's always something.

Glad to hear you emerged sunny side still up, Rock.

And don't worry about Gus...
Same as the rest of us, he's counting his days....
it's always something smile

Gus, people have died. People are hurting. Lives have been changed forever. And at this time, while the tornados are still occurring, you say frickin idiot things like this.

I have read your idiot posts and held back judgement, but not tonight. You are an arse. STFU and GFY. And with no due respect.

Glad you made it through the storms okay, Bobby. I'm still trying to get thru to my cousins down at the Highway 94/US 40 junction (they live about a mile from that interchange). Let it ring 10 times with no answer.

They might be visiting up in the country, and are fine, but unless they answer the danged phone, there's no way to know.

One of the news reporters were reporting roof offs at 40/94.

My brother in law lives at 40 and Weldon springs and said they had no damage and did not know of any damage in the area.

For what it's worth.
