Finally had enough of the stupid Kuerig coffee maker with the Kcups(I drink way too much coffee spending over $30 a week on cups)
Bought a French press yesterday and a quick heat kettle
Nothin like fresh course ground beans in a press!

Sometimes I think Keurig coffee tastes pretty good. Other times I think it tastes like glorified instant coffee. I have had the French press out all week. Nothing can beat it for making a really rich, extra strong cup of coffee. Wegman's medium roast beans are really good for the price.

If you like the french press, but don't like the grounds it sometimes leaves in the coffee, you should try an aeropress. It makes great coffee. The only downside is that making more than 3 or 4 cups of coffee is time consuming because you have to de everything twice, but the same is probably true of a french press.

All that trouble involved, it had better be a damned good cup of coffee.

In 4 minutes I have great coffee can't see it as being difficult to add ground coffee water and press

Maybe that guy made it seem like there was more involved than there actually is.

Sometimes it is good being a simpleton hilljack. I throw some Dunkin Donuts blend in the Bunn coffee maker and I've got coffee that ran over brimstone very quickly.

Thats pretty much my routine. I use plain ol' drip brewer thats ready to drink when my feet hit the floor out of bed...If I want to get fancy I drink it from a ceramic mug...

The best there is, too, unless you get pure Colombian.

And even in my sorry state of fitness, I laugh at your pride in a 180 pound bench press.
