Help! I need the actual measured diameter of the stem of a Merit eyepiece with the standard 7/32x40 stem. Please, I don't want a nominal figure from a chart, but an actual measurement. If anyone has one, and would be willing to measure the OD of the stem with a micrometer, I'd be most appreciative.

The one I'm measuring , .........
Major dia., at the base of the cup .2265" / .2264"
On the crest of the 40tpi ,60* threaded portion .2261 / .2262"
A bit "Fat", from nominal 7/32" @ .2188" , I dare say.
