I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be a little behind in delevery as the EF5 2.6 mile wide tornado last friday hit our gun club during the State championships. We got everyone out but total destruction to the club house and we had maybe 35 motor homes and campers that were destroyed. We have pics at otatrapandskeet.org, Take a look see what a deal. Larry Parsons. I am the president of the organization and was running this shoot. Some days of it there was 250 competators.

Sorry to learn of the losses but glad no one was hurt.

It was a beast...! Two F5's here in 2 weeks...that's insane. Only about 1 in 1000 tornados is an F5. Winds were 295 mph...!
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

In some places concrete and asphalt was pulled up... The edge of the twister was about a 1/4 of a mile from our house and I watched straight line winds push two huge hickory trees over in our yard...they weren't "gusts", just a constant straight wind that pushed the trees to about 45 degrees before the roots came up. I'll never forget the sound of that wind. I stopped counting at 20-something trees I cut off the fences after it. So thankful the twisting winds didn't hit our house. Wishing the best to the folks in OK.

Death toll is up to 20 today. About half of the victims drown in drainage ditches or got swept to river.

There was a small circulation in the area of my home but the only damage here was downed fences, flooding, trees down and roof damage. I hit the cellar on this one took my wife 2 dogs my next door neighbor her dog and went to my moms house 1 mile away. Her neighbor was locked out of his house so we took him in too. Had to stay there quite a while.
