Breakfast, lunch, dinner in this house! My Okie grandmother did use supper. She also warshed the dishes.

let me know where you find a good one for a reasonable price. I got this from Academy Sports. It has the raised ridges on the other side. Not a grate, but it helps me get the grill marks with out having to deal with flareups on chicken and porkchops. http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/s...;Ntt=round+cast+iron+griddle&Ntk=AllWorks great on steaks as well.

Ahh yes, Caveman style. It was all the rage a couple of years ago. Though it works and produces nicely seared meat, it's no better than searing on a grid close to the coals. Besides that, you get to keep all of your arm hair. Mike
