The Norma is approaching Lapua price though..

My vote goes to R-P....Unless you can find Hornady for a great deal..

It's all Remington now....

Pick up a piece of Remington brass and look at the bottom. It says R-P on the headstamp so I've always heard Remington brass referenced to as R-P brass

Although it is very possible the ones exported to Wisconsin read "GFY."

My Remmy brass says R-P,it's a couple years old, but still.

The only thing exporting to Wisco these day,

is all the friccken Illannoysians(that's a word).

I would need your kind of income to afford the 'pua

Haven't tried the Nosler or Lapua, so I can't say. But I have used and still use the Hornady. Probably the best made brass I've ever tried. I will grant you the R-P lately has been very good, significantly better than Winchester.
Over 30 yrs. ago, I bought some 7mm magnum Norma brass. Had to take it back as it would not fit my shellholder ! However, the .44 Magnum brass I used for years was fine. But no better than the latest R-P stuff.
Of the three, I'd buy the Hornady again. Maybe I'm not as picky as some, but after over 50 yrs. of reloading experience, and having loaded for the '06 off and on since the 60's, I really like the Hornady brass. E

Flave, I'd take some of that "GFY" brass if you can get it marketed....To Kenneth, the new Remington brass still says R-P on the headstamp. I've been using Remington brass for years and it's my "go to" brass unless I can't find it..I had to buy some Hornady brass for my 9.3x62mm the other day though because midway had it for a good deal and my friend gave me 100 pieces of hornady for my 22-250, but other than that I use R-P (Remington). It's good chit...

$1-$1.50/ea seems like a lot of dough for brass..... until you're still shooting it 10 years later. Lapua brass is tough schitt.... the only way you typically lose one.... is by losing it.

If you're shooting a target rifle in competition where matches are won and lost by .001", then get the Lapua. If you're shooting a hunting rifle, the only thing Lapua brass will give you is the "mine cost more than yours, neener, neener, neener" ability. I've R-P 30-06 brass that I've reloaded numerous times over several years that is still going strong. Really all Lapua does is save you prep time.

I have .243 W/W, R-P, Fed, and Horn brass that lasted 5-8 reloads.... the .243 Lapua brass is still going strong... after 20+. If I do the math correctly.... That means I have to buy three bags of everyone else's brass... to one bag of 'pua.... net cost over time for the good schitt is quite often less than the decent stuff. Buy once, cry once.

I lose too much brass in the high grass and snow to buy Lapua. Good stuff, but I don't wanna cry every time a piece gets ejected into the unknown. Another reason not to shoot a wildcat that takes a lot of case forming.
