Anyone out there use or know anything about this cartridge? Looking for reloading data and brass forming ideas.

Thanks

Sorry some of the brass was formed from 222 Mag and some from 204 Ruger.

Gotcha.

Not familiar with it at all, I do have a 6x47mm (222RM necked to 6mm).

Just guessing here, but I would think 7mm TCU loads would get you in the ballpark.

Since 222RM and a 223Ackley are damn near the same in case capacity, so would I think a 7x47mm and a 7mm TCU (think 223 necked to 7mm with an Ackley shoulder)

Thanks for the insight.

The gun is an XP 100 and comes with dies and 100 pieces of
brass. I was hoping that brass could be made from 6x47 brass by just running it through the 7x47 sizing die. I was thinking it might make a fun long range crow and chuck thumper.

Hodgdon's # 26 Manual has a entire section on IHMSA load data and includes the 7 TCU starting on page 543.....

It should thrive on 100-120s. Hornady 100 flies accurate, as the 120 SP/HP, though I'd pick a 120 Vmax for an all around varmint bullet myself. Shot a Super 14" TCU long ago, and a 10" a good bit. 2400+ should be in reach for mv. Try AA 2015BR if still found, and H335.

7mm Raptor by Gary Reeder
For best neck length use 223 Basic brass to form
Seems the last two Raptors (7mm & 30)released by Reeder had a short neck
Load data available from Reeder
Think of it as a 7 TCU+P

I owned an XP-100 in 7X47 for a number of years.

I used 222 Rem Mag brass, necked up, trimmed and then fire-formed. After that I was able to neck size with a 7TCU die and shoot. I was getting 10-12 firings before getting neck splits. If you anneal, you can get a lot more.

As for load data, start with mid-range 7TCU loads and work up from there.
