Does anyone know what powders Hornady and Speer are using in their 480 loads? The Hornady stuff is the cleanest burning I've ever seen. You can swab the inside of a fired case with a q-tip and it still looks clean! The Speer stuff also burns pretty clean, but not as good. I would like to combine the Speer 400 gr gold-dot with whatever powder Hornady is using for my next black bear hunt. Any help would be great. Thanks guys---2MG
