1927 birthday. Savage 99H carbine, came in 30-30 and 303 Savage, 20 inch medium weight barrel, weight 61/2 lbs.

pcs, the 99H like you have was produced in the 1920's and 1930's and is a short, handy carbine. It is totally different from the 1899H which was made in the 1900's and 1910's. The 99H went through several variations of buttplates, side panels and plain forearm versus barrel band.

That's a nice one.
